Welcome to the South Sound Slam Charity Pickleball Tournament

presented by MultiCare, an exciting three-day pickleball tournament at

23 Kitchens in Lacey, WA! This charity event will benefit the Youth

Pickleball Initiative (YPI), helping introduce and nurture a passion for

pickleball among young athletes. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the game, there's something for everyone at the South Sound Slam.

Friday, August 1– Tournament start and The Celebrity Pro-Am & Kickoff Party.

Kick off the fun filled weekend with a Celebrity Pro-Am Match. PPA pros and special celebrity guests battle it out on the courts! After the matches, join us for the Tournament Kickoff Party— your optional add on ticket includes the pro am match and the afterparty including a live DJ, food & drink specials, and exclusive meet-and-greet opportunities. Tickets for the event are just $25 ($15 with tournament registration) and include access to the event, open play on any of our indoor or outdoor courts and one 16oz self serve beer wall card.

Upgrade your experience with the VIP Viewing Deck hosted by Olympia Rotary Club and watch the match from our rooftop bar and lounge. This ticket includes a dinner buffet and open bar from our special bar menu created just for the event. Both Tickets can be added to your tournament registration.

Saturday, August 2 – Tournament Play Continues and The Saturday Night Showdown!

Players of all levels will compete across multiple divisions for prizes and bragging rights. Enjoy a full day of action-packed matches, food, drinks, and the best pickleball atmosphere in the State! Saturday evening compete for your chance at the $3000 grand prize in a double elimination tournament where the champions go home with $3000 in cold hard cash!

Sunday, August 3 – Family Fun Day & Free Youth Tournament in Partnership with MultiCare

Sunday is all about community, family, and fun! Watch young athletes take the court in our Free Youth Tournament, and bring the whole family to enjoy a day filled with inflatable games, local vendors, delicious food, and fun activities for all ages.
